Open Girls Rugby
Report about rugby tournament...
It was an exciting and nervous day for the open grade rugby girls. We had a rugby tournament at Lloyd Elsmore Park. When we got there our hearts were beating like drums. When we got out of the van it all changed. We looked at the other teams and they didn’t even look as scary as we thought they would be.
Than Mo came with the bad news he told us that we weren’t allowed to play there because the fields were closed. We didn’t let that get us down.
Then the principal of Pt England School- Mr Burt came and asked if we would like to play at Pt England School.
YES- we all screamed with joy!!
We travelled to Pt England School. The first school we played was Pt England Open Grade girls we WASTED THEM!!!!!! . Mounga scored our first try of the day.
It was a very easy game Mounga was our star player.
Next we played Viscount that was a good challenge for us but unfortunately we lost that game. We want to assure you that it was actually a good game.
We would like to give a huge thank you to our supporters and Mr Samson and Mrs Tafea - THANK YOU
